Agostino Altamore was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at Rockford University, with a minor in Spanish. After earning his undergraduate degree, Agostino enrolled at Thomas Cooley Law School in East Lansing, Michigan. While in law school, Agostino served as a clerk for Judge Ronald White in Winnebago County, Illinois. After a semester of work as a judicial clerk, he went on to work as a 711 in the Winnebago County State's Attorneys' Office.

After graduating from law school in 2009, Agostino began working at the Winnebago County State's Attorneys' Office. In 2010 Agostino began working at Albert A. Altamore & Associates, P.C., where the majority of his work focuses on traffic, criminal and DUI defense.
