Matthew A. Schuck was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Rockford, Illinois in 2007. He attended Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Degree in Economics. He earned Dean’s List honors in Spring 2008, Fall 2009 and Spring 2010. Matthew was inducted a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon Economic Honors Fraternity in 2008 for high scholastic achievement in field of Economics. While attending Northern Illinois University Matthew was also an active member in Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. After completing undergraduate studies, Matthew attended Northern Illinois College of Law. While attending law school, Matthew earned Dean’s List honors in Spring 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012 and Fall 2012. Matthew was also awarded the Clover Family Award for working more pro bono hours than any other member of graduating class of 2013.

After admission to the Illinois Bar in October 2013, Matthew began working at the Winnebago County Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender in DUI court handling major traffic and DUI cases from initial appearance to resolution. He has handled several DUI and felony traffic cases at jury trial with successful results for his clients. Matthew left the Public Defender’s Office and began to working at Albert A. Altamore & Associates, P.C. in February 2017.

Matthew lives in Rockford, Illinois with his wife Stephanie and son Francis and daughter Charlotte. They are parishioners at St. Peter’s Church, Rockford, Illinois. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family.He supports Shriner’s Hospitals for Children as a board member at Tebala Shriners International in Rockford.
